Welcome back to an abbreviated issue of A Wild Sara. As I mentioned in my last post, my partner and I are off to spend time with some friends and family. I am incredibly grateful to step away from the noise of my regular schedule, but I will be happy to return home. :)
As one might expect from a vacationer, I am not doing much writing (though it would be pretty sexy of me to write by the ocean). Instead of my usual mini essay, we’re jumping right into a handful of artists I’ve been loving. I hope you enjoy, and I will write again next week.
Miguel Adrover (@migueladroverofficial) is a Spanish portrait artist and fashion designer I discovered on Instagram in 2023. His photography style is gentle, natural and highly personal, making for an impactful piece in every post. Adrover’s photos poke at my heart strings and extend a hand of invitation into his tender world. The images leave me teary eyed and beaming, and with his short instructions “This page is curated to be seen as a whole.” you truly feel it in all of its glory.
Unknown cat artist that is DRIVING ME CRAZY
I wish I was joking…these silly cat portraits I found on Pinterest are my muse. I am obsessed. They call out to me like the Green Goblin mask, but I CAN’T FIGURE OUT WHO DOES THEM. At this point I’m writing a help wanted ad - if you know who draws these, tell them I want 400 more of em’ as soon as possible.

Art is often sprinkled with motifs like sparkles, stars, and dots that fill the space between subjects. However, endless_spiral turns this familiar, dizzying image into a captivating centerpiece. Billing itself as a “spiral fan account,” the Instagram page curates hundreds of drawings, fashion pieces, natural phenomena and sculptural submissions to display in a hypnotizing grid. What I love most about this collection is its playful spirit, reminding us of the interconnectedness and everyday marvels that surround us.
